Profile:
Jorge grew up in Spain where he studied engineering dreaming of a career in Aerospace. However, while working at NASA GSFC he slowly fell in love with instrumentation for Astronomy in particular with technology development for high contrast imaging. This new passion has brought him to California where he greatly enjoys the weather and nature. He likes hiking/backpacking, climbing, and cooking. His favorite soccer team is Athletic Club of Bilbao.
