Profile:
Katelyn Horstman grew up in California and attended UCLA, where she graduated with departmental honors and received a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics in 2021. Katelyn is currently pursuing her PhD in Astrophysics at Caltech where she is studying exomoon detection, exoplanet detection/characterization, and near-infrared instrumentation. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys skiing, hiking, and trying new boba places.
