My research is focused on optimizing observations and image processing algorithms to directly detect extra-solar planets. I have recently focused on the correlation between giant exoplanets and debris disks, and what this implies for exoplanet-disk interactions. As a member of the Roman Coronagraph Instrument ground system team, I contribute to the data processing and operations.
Profile:
I am an Assistant Research Scientist at IPAC/Caltech where I study the direct imaging of extrasolar planets. My research focuses on understanding giant exoplanet formation around stars with debris disks through high contrast imaging. I am from Northern California, I went to UCLA for my undergrad, Leiden University for my masters and PhD and back to JPL as an Exoplanetary Science Initiatve Postdoctoral Fellow. I started at IPAC in 2017, I am the data management lead for the Roman Coronagraph Instrument.
